Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that takes place after the death of Wu Sangui. In order to send Chen Yuanyuan and her grandson to safety, a general commissions the help of the nation's best escort group to take on a mission of life and death.
It was the reign of Kangxi Emperor of the Song Dynasty. General Ma Baoyuan is tasked with protecting what's left of Wu Sangui's family and ensuring that they make it safely to Guizhou. Word gets out which puts them in a perilous situation. As a last resort, Ma Baoyuan hires Yongan Escort Group to take the small roads while he leads a group of men to lure the enemies away. Yang Liuan (Louis Fan) leads the charge but finds that bandits and the Qing Army have followed their trail and he engages them in a bloody fight to keep their mission alive.
