Synopsis and Plot Summary
A touching story that follows an ordinary woman from a farming village who marries, starts a family and experiences the ups and downs of life to have a happy home.
Towards the end of the year 1970's, Yang Shihong (Wang Qianhua) falls in love with Niu Wang (Jing Hao), but their families fall into disarray over the dowry. Out of anger, Yang Shihong marries Wang Changan (Shen Hang) instead. While she thinks him to be cowardly at first, she grows to love him as a man. However, he passes away due to a car accident and leaves the burden of the entire family in her shoulders.
