Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that begins when a young woman downtrodden in life and a man who comes from another time meet miraculously and are forced into a situation where they have to live together.
Gu Xiao Jiao (Tong Liya) lives in the year 2018. She is a woman who tries to con others but ends up getting conned instead. Lu Ming (Lei Jiayin) comes from the year 1999. He pours everything into investments but gets caught in a scandal involving the boss. The two people from different timelines wake up on the same bed and find that they can magically visit each other's timeline through the room that they share. It starts a hilarious story as they con their way through life, without knowing that there is a mysterious person behind the scenes.
Fun Facts
- Lei Jiayin shared that the person they had in mind to play the younger Lu Ming was Liu Haoran. Due to budget concerns, he ended up playing both characters.
- While working on post-production for the movie, the Director suffered from anxiety and was sent to the hospital via ambulance.
- Tong Liya said that the main cast suffered quite a lot for the role especially during a scene where the car was falling from the bridge. Because using wirework would not translate well post-production, Lei Jiayin had to forego basic safety measures which was very dangerous.
