Synopsis and Plot Summary
A soccer player who is fired from his own team becomes a billionaire overnight.
Due to a mistake he made during a match, Wang Duoyu (Shen Teng) who is a goalie at his soccer team is forced out of the team. Just when he has hit rock bottom, he accepts a peculiar one month challenge to spend 1 billion in cash. Thinking about how nice his life would be now that he is living large, he comes to realize that spending money is not as easy as it looks.
Fun Facts
- Filming began on December 15, 2017 in Xiamen, China.
- At first, the director intended for Shen Teng to lose weight so Shen Teng got himself a gym membership, a personal trainer and started running 5 kilometers everyday. However, he sustained injuries and could no longer workout so the director decided that Shen Teng might as well gain the weight and maintain it around 163 jin.
- Zhang Yiming also had to gain the weight for the role so he started eating like mad and added 40 jin to his own weight.
