Synopsis and Plot Summary
A mermaid makes a bet with her father to find the love that he claims does not exist. Coming all the way from the ocean, she starts attending school where she meets a mysterious man.
An incident revolving around a pandemic toxin becomes a catalyst for Chi Lu (Li Hongyi) to pretend to be a student. His arrival disrupts Dai Xi's (Zhou Yutong) peaceful existence. Dai Xi's father Professor Dai goes missing and the search for him leads her to discover the truth behind her own identity and a chilling case that affected the mermaid tribe more than ten years ago.
