Synopsis and Plot Summary
Twenty years after the demise of the Tang Dynasty, the middle kingdom is torn apart by relentless war. Atop the TaiYi Mountains stands a hundred-year-old school that has fostered a generation of scholars. It has become a place of paradise that attracts students from all over the place. However, word of a treasure buried in TaiYi Mountains spreads which destroys the peaceful serenity within the school.
Zhang Mao's son Zhang Yi (Liang Dawei) is on the run with his younger sister Zhang Ying (Jin Mengyang) after their uncle seizes their family inheritance for himself. They end up at TaiYi Mountains where they meet unusual personalities. Li Jingyu (Li Wenhan) is a human library and the Crown Prince, Cui Jialuo (Zhang Zhixi) is a mathematical genius, Wang Enzhu (Ai Xiaoqi) is a hunter and Duan Muzheng (Zhang Ruihan) is an extroardinary mechanic. Each of them have come to the school with reasons of their own and they begin the journey through learning.
