Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that revolves around a retiree who is seeking out suitors for her daughter but finds that romance is knocking at her door when she attracts the attention of a foreigner who starts pursuing her actively.
Ding Xiangxiang (He Saifei) became widowed at a young age and had the help of Ma Dakuan (Qin Yan), her husband's martial junior in handling household matters. Now that she is close to the age of 50, she is a retired former nurse. Her two sons are already married with kids, which leaves her daughter Shi Ru (Zhai Xiaoxing) to be her biggest worry. Taking matters into her own hands, Ding Xiangxiang moves starts to setup dates for her daughter which unexpectedly leads her to meet an expert named Reny (Cao Cao). His arrival pushes Ma Dakuan (Qin Yan) to act out on his feelings for fear of losing Ding Xiangxing. Lu Henian (Qiao Lisheng) who was once saved by Ding Xiangxiang also falls for her.
