Synopsis and Plot Summary

In order to complete the lash wish of Duke VI, Yin Chen (Silver), Qi Ling (Asval), Tianshu You Hua (Princess Kira) and the others decide to embark on a journey together to save the Gilgamesh, the former Duke I who has been sealed by the Silver Priest. Upon their arrival, they encounter the strongest set of killers in You Ming (Dark), Thalia (Lady Nox) and Qi La (Zila). A confrontation is inevitable as the darkest secret of the Aslan Empire gradually rises to the surface.

Fun Facts

• Fan Bingbing's filmed projects which include L.O.R.D.2 were postponed after the actress was caught in a tax evasion scandal in 2018.
• It is written and directed by Guo Jingming who wrote the source novel.
• Promotions started for the movie during Chinese New Year where it was announced that the original cast will return for the sequel.
• When Guo Jingming posted an update on social media to say that he was working with Amber Kuo on their sixth movie, many speculated that he was referring to L.O.R.D. 2.
• Due to the first movie failing in the box office, there were rumors that the sequel might not get made.
• Promotions have swung into action for L.O.R.D. 2 ahead of its July 6, 2018 premiere. However, an announcement was made in June to say that the movie has been postponed. Guo Jingming expressed dismay over the turn of events by posting a picture of himself in a theater with no one in but himself.
• It was suddenly announced in November that L.O.R.D. 2 will be released online on December 4, 2020.
• The character Lian Quan originally played by Fan Bingbing remains in L.O.R.D. 2 but the actress has been completed edited out for a different looking character. She was also excluded from promotions nor was she credited for her involvement in the movie.
