Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story revolving around the legendary life of Teresa Teng as a celebrated artist who will forever be remembered.
It starts in the year 2008 at a concert held in Shanghai. Deng Changfu was lying in a stretcher and recalling memories from the past. On a morning near the beginning of winter during the year 1953, the Deng Family which led a simple life in a village in Taiwan welcomed their fourth family member, a girl they call 'Ya Tou." Ya Tou is gifted with an incredible voice, but her father is against her going into music.
When Deng Shu retired from military service, he begins to make a living by setting up a stall at the market everyday. Although unable to comprehend her father's wishes, she was his handy assistant at selling steamed buns. After graduating from elementary school, Ya Tou failed to continue with her schooling but has become a regular in singing competitions. When Deng Shu got seriously injured due to an altercation with bad people and was even being sued for it, Ya Tou signs a deal to debut as a singer.
