Synopsis and Plot Summary
The story about the number one detective of the Qing Dynasty begins again as the titular hero plays a crucial role in the fight against the Japanese.
After the case surrounding the Qing Dynasty treasure was closed, Mei Yumo (Wang Xia) inherits the throne. Bai Xueqing (Li Mozhi) leaves the capital and gets pulled into a case revolving around the plague. Yumo and Xueqing's fates are inadvertently intertwined as their paths cross once again. Deep within the palace, Liu Beile (Ronald Law) and Consort Ren (Liu Aini) are plotting a conspiracy that could shake the very foundations of the nation.
