Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story revolving around an undercover cop whose life is put in jeopardy after his identity is exposed. He must evade his pursuers and apprehend the mysterious leader of the criminal organization in order to serve justice.
"Lonesome City" is a place reeking with crime and corruption. With the help of his superior and handler Ah Zhan (He Jiong), Yu Qiu (Nick Cheung) successfully infiltrates the triads as an undercover cop. Years of living as the bad guy has caused him to slowly lose his sense of self, but a part of him still longs for the day that justice will prevail. Ah Zhan gives Yu Qiu a mission to weed out the elusive boss who masterminds the criminal activities in the city. Through a child abduction case, Yu Qiu and Ah Zhan come closer to the truth, but they discover that the stench of crime runs deep within the higher echelons of society and that they every step they take may be into a trap that has already been laid out for them.
