Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story revolving around two people who are unaware of their true feelings. Due to their stages in life, Sheng Xia and Qiu Yang decide to enter into a contract marriage only to realize that they have already fallen for each other.

Sheng Xia (Li Xiao Ran) is a middle-aged woman. Due to a genetic disease, she becomes desperate to get married and to have a baby. Qiu Yang (Yu He Wei) is a corporate executive who has had two failed marriages. He faces a huge dilemma at work and his friends and family are forcing his hand to marry so that he can save his company. The two people who suddenly consider marriage to be their only lifeline end up as neighbors and they start a loveless relationship as a means to address their needs.
