Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story about a team of righteous prosecutors who are unbending in their mandate to fight corruption.
A public official commits suicide which ignites a chain of events. Jian Jie (Wang Lei) is a prosecutor tasked with investigating the case, but he encounters hurdles every step of the way. Not long after, Lawyer Mei Dong Sheng who is Jian Jie's future father-in-law goes missing and becomes the prime suspect to a murder case. The lives of Jian Jie and his fiancee are turned upside down until Jian Jie realizes that something bigger is at play. Under the leadership of their superior, Jian Jie, Ji Jia Ni (Liu Tao) and their team of prosecutors begin the uphill battle against major political powers who will cover their tracks at all costs.
