Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story revolving around a policeman who becomes embroiled in a conspiracy plaguing the high-ranking officials due to an incident that almost cost him his life.

Inspector Shang Xing (Benjamin Yuen) was initially a bright star in the police force. During a mission, he takes a bullet in the head in order to save a comrade. He miraculously survives and works twice as hard after his recovery, thus earning the nickname 'Iron Detective.' However, Shang Xing has actually been suffering from emotional trauma ever since he was shot, and it has caused him to become violent and occasionally lose control. The unusual relationship between Wan Xi Hua (Kara Hui) and Bingo (Philip Keung) further clouds the truth behind the gunshot incident as a greater conspiracy brews behind the scenes.
