Synopsis and Plot Summary
The story begins when strange events occur in the capital of Luoyang. There are warriors wearing ghastly masks wreaking havoc wherever they go, foxes that can speak the human language, sculptures inside the palace that have come to life and pay tribute to the Nu Mu Heavenly God. Detective Dee (Mark Chao) is tasked with solving the mysteries while facing increased pressure from Empress Wu (Carina Lau).
