Re Xue Yong Shi

A story revolving around a man who rises from his personal vendetta to have the country in his heart as he seeks to destroy the biological weapon developed by the Japanese.

In the year 1930, Gao Lin Feng (Lin Yushen) volunteers for a mission to infiltrate a camp run by bandits due to a personal vendetta. He encounters numerous hurdles due to the local army, the An Qing clan and the Black Dragon Organization. He receives the help of Gao Hua (Li Duo) and Shen Lan Lan (Zhang Xuan) from the Communist party and becomes influenced by their ideals. He puts on a black mask and strives to uphold justice as the Black Cyclone.

• It first premiered January 22, 2017 on Tianjin Television Station and earned a rebroadcast on a major network in 2018.
• Filming took place in Hengdian World Studios.
• Before filming began, the director reserved a week to conduct a script reading with the cast.
