Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story about two people who find love and comfort in each other in the coldest place on earth.
Due to a plane crash, businessman Wu Fu Chun (Mark Chao) and physicist Jing Ru Yi (Yang Zi Shan) encounter each other in the middle of the Antarctic. With no one else around, the learn to depend on each other in a struggle for survival.
Fun Facts
- Wu You Yin who wrote the source novel also wrote the screenplay and directed the film.
- The novel which is the first of its kind to be themed around the Antarctic is based on personal experiences of the author. The cast and crew went to Antarctica to film the movie.
- Mark Chao experienced snow blindness while filming the movie and had trouble with bright lights when filming his next project which was Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms opposite Yang Mi. Mark Chao and Yang Zi Shan reunite after also playing a couple in the 2013 movie So Young.
