Synopsis and Plot Summary
During his high school years, gaming legend Wang GaiLun (Sun Yiyang) exhibited extraordinary talent as he won second place in the World Cyber Games (WCG). However, due to various reasons, he ended up falling from the spotlight and became a manager of Old Wang’s internet café instead. Meanwhile, a crucial match in the cyber world takes place between Wang Hai’s (Norman Chu) LongMen team and TangLin’s (Xiao Cang) DongGong team. To increase LongMen’s ability, Wang Hai wants Wang GaiLun to join the team and thus, he sent Duan XiaoShuai (Yu Xuan Hong Hao) and AnQi (Fang Yuchen) to look out for him. On the other hand, Tang Lin also wants him on the DongGong team and sent Xiao Rou (Liu Jingyi) to seduce him. The days went by and Duan XiaoShuai started to doubt his talent.
In the end, when Wang GaiLun fell in love with Lin MengYin, he regained his self-confidence and decided to join the LongMen team. To his surprise, he uncovered a bigger plot during the tournament and he found out that he was nothing but a pawn in this plot. Just as Wang GaiLun’s dreams are abused by power, what should his next step be? In between these cyber tournaments, who is the real winner?
