Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that follows a woman considered to be an old maid by modern standards who experiences changes in her life and finds love.
After graduating from college, Zhu Donghua (Zhu Dan) works hard to make it in the big city. She achieves small successes as a woman who's almost in her thirties. However, her love life and career suddenly take a turn for the worse. Another woman snatches her husband away on her wedding day and she is also forced out of a job.
She randomly meets Li Wenshuo (Kim Jin Woo), a popular singer. Their relationship evolves from a simple misunderstanding to that of a romance. However, Zhu Donghua learns that Li Wenshuo is already engaged to Yang Qiwen (Allie Chan). The news comes as a big blow to her and magnifies her insecurities such that Zhu Donghua decides never to fall in love again. She leaves Li Wenshuo and opens a small inn at Haibin, yet fate brings her to him once more. Will they finally have their happily ever after?

- Filming took place in Tianjin, Qingdao and Shanghai.
- It is part of the dramas that were affected by the Hallyu Ban, an unofficial ban that was in effect in China to restrict all forms of Hallyu aka Korean Wave due to the political disagreement between China and Korea over THAAD. On October 31, 2017, there were reports that both sides were making a move to mend diplomatic ties and news that the virtual ban has been lifted came days later. (Source: Sohu)
- Aside from leading lady Zhu Dan, the cast includes Dennis Oh and Kim Jin Woo who are popular actors in Korea. Despite coming from different countries, the cast got a long very well and would meet up for meals outside of work.
- Although Kim Jin Woo had a day off, Zhu Dan was surprised when he came to set to give her 99 roses on her birthday. Aside from the Chinese version of Happy Birthday, Kim Jin Woo, Dennis Oh and Hong Kong actress Allie Chan sang the Korean, English and Cantonese versions of the song.
