Synopsis and Plot Summary

Based on thirty years of real-life experiences accumulated by Wang Xue Mei who is the first female forensic expert in China.

The story revolves around Shang Jie (Gao Ren), the overly critical head of a crime investigation team, Xia Ying (Zhang Ling Xin), a forensic examiner who is completely engrossed with her profession, Li Xue Kai (Cai Yi Da), a detective and a good tracker, Song Mi (Wu Man Si), an innocent and ditsy analyst and Ying Ming (Zhang Jia Ding), a second generation rich who works as a criminal psychologist. The five form an unlikely team as they are the rejects of the department, yet through teamwork and dedication, they succeed in solving the most unusual murder cases.

It is produced by Tencent Penguin Pictures and Xu Dong Ying Ye.
Even though it is a web drama, the production team ensure to keep to movie grade standards from its set locations to the props. According to producer Zhao Jie, "As long as it is for the project, any investment is worth it."
