Synopsis and Plot Summary
It is loosely inspired by Journey to the West but traverses a completely different path from the classic tale surrounding a monk and his three disciples. Instead, an unconventional fantasy takes place in a modern-day setting following a group of expert gamers. Due to a bug in the system, they are pulled into the forefront of a dangerous game as they return to the real world with superpowers and deadly enemies.
