Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story revolving around two concurrent worlds, one that's 'real' and one that's 'imaginary' wherein players must clear different levels to maintain the balance between the two.

Xia Chi (Ryan Zhu) is good-natured, kind, intelligent and meticulous. He is a member of the inference association at university. During an activity, his girlfriend Qing Zhi (Jiang Yi Yi) suddenly disappears after coming across the Ji Lu Files. In order to find her, Xia Chi and his friend Meng Qin (Fabien Yang) get pulled into a mysterious gaming world run by an organization called Die Now. In every challenge, they risk life and death to advance to the next level and bear witness to the incredible power and wealth possessed by the game makers. As they progress, they begin to suspect the purpose behind the game.
