Synopsis and Plot Summary
A girl pretending to be a boy finds work at a sports club to pay off her family's debts. In her journey to bettering herself, she encounters two men who are polar opposites of each other.
Xia Jiangnan (Fang Hui) is a kind, caring girl and a good student with good grades. Her tomboyish personality and androgynous look is often cause for people to mistake her for being a boy. Because of her family going bankrupt and her father's sudden passing, Xia Jiangnan had to take on the responsibilities as a breadwinner and she does this by taking on multiple part-time jobs.
While she was on duty, Xia Jiangnan crosses paths with Gao Xing (Lee Sang-yeon), a second-generation rich who's trying to get away with a free meal. To her, he is arrogant and unruly. Gao Xing's rebellious streak is a constant source of headache for his wealthy father. Deng Yufei (Liu Chao) cooks up a plan to set his cousin Gao Xing straight by tricking him into work for their own company, a sports car club that only accepts male employees. Xia Jiangnan ends up at the same place while trying to help out a friend and she gets mistaken for a male employee by Ding Yufei. Her work ethic gains the approval of Ding Yufei which lands her a job. She becomes colleagues with Gao Xing which paves the way for all kinds of misunderstandings between two people caught in a love-hate relationship.
