Synopsis and Plot Summary
In an era where demons walk the earth and humanity is on the verge of destruction, a mysterious organization full of skilled individuals, a constable and a girl who's background is unknown join forces to embark on a fantasy adventure.
Fun Facts
- Filming lasted around five months beginning in March 2016 and ending July 2016.
- It is directed by action choreographer and filmmaker Yuen Woo Ping with a screenplay by Tsui Hark.
- Yuen Woo Ping opened the road to an unconventional wuxia with The Miracle Fighters in the 1980's. More than thirty years later, he joins hands with good friend Tsui Hark and Wei Jun Zi for the remake though it comes with a fresh story and its own interpretation of wuxia.
- Although it comes with a different English title, the new movie shares the same Chinese title as the original.
