Synopsis and Plot Summary
A comedic and heartfelt romance between a foxy demon aka 'beast' who is in hot pursuit of the human that she likes.
Yuan Shuai is a a man who is drowning in debt. In order to pay up, he goes on blind dates with daughters of wealthy families but ends up falling in love with Bai Xian Chu, a fox demon who's come to the human realm to repay a debt. Fun Facts
- Filming took place in Shanghai, China.
- It is Feng Shao Feng and Crystal Liu's second collaboration after six years since they played a couple in the 2011 film White Vengeance.
- Out of the four main character's, only Feng Shao Feng's role is that of a human.
- Feng Shao Feng had to film a nude scene on his first day of filming. On top of that he has had to wear a skirt and pretend to be a girl for the role, making this a somewhat unconventional attempt for the actor.
- The Chinese title for Hanson and the Beast is Second Generation Demon. Previously, the title was First Generation Demon. However, the production team decided that a first generation demon belongs in the ancient times so a modern day demon would probably be second generation.
