Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story about a young girl whose life changes on her 17th birthday. She is unable to feel pain and forms a friendship and romance with a fellow student at school.
Xia Yuan Yuan (Xu Jiao) is a high school student afflicted with analgesia. She accidentally burns her face because the water's too hot, she pokes herself with a needle while sewing her costume and often finds that she's injured in places without ever really knowing about it. People mock her for being a freak and her grades are at an ultimately low.
With the help of Gu Ming Yao (Hu Xia), she gradually starts developing an interest for learning and also becomes much more cheerful. However, misunderstandings and suspicions begin to escalate as she understand the meaning of growing pains.
