Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story about a monk and a demon hunter who cross paths and fight alongside each other to protect the people, both unaware that they have shared memories that have long been forgotten.
During the Southern Song era, monsters are plaguing the villages in Hangzhou. Xuan Guang Temple sends Bu Tong Monk (Ryan Zheng) down from the mountains to conquer demons save the people. He encounters Qing Qing (Kitty Zhang) who is a demon hunter herself and also meets Gu Du Qiu Bai (Evonne Hsieh), an invincible swordswoman with no parallel in skill. The three find kinship in each other and become friends, yet they must face their biggest enemy yet, an old nemesis of Bu Tong from thousands of years ago.
