Synopsis and Plot Summary
"Old Ghost" from the Communist underground has successfully intercepted Japanese military intelligence but couldn't transmit the information at the most critical juncture. In danger of being exposed, "Old Ghost" must outsmart the enemy in order to send out the message.
In 1941, BIS agent Gu Xiaomeng (Xu Lu) infiltrated the office of the Wang Jingwei regime. Due to intelligence regarding the assassination of a high-ranking official, she is taken for interrogation along with Li Ningyu (Janice Man), Jin Shenghuo (Zhang Zhijian), Wu Zhiguo (Tony Yang) and Bai Xiaonian (Niu Zifan).
Longchuan (Zhou Yiwei), chief intelligence officer of the Japanese imperial army and Wang Tianxiang (Yu Ailei), director of the Wang Jingwei secret agency throw the five individuals into Qiuzhuang. Upon learning that "Old Ghost" is among them, Longchuan uses all means to find the mole without realizing that "Old Ghost" is a difficult and clever opponent who's prepared to sacrifice everything in order to confuse the enemy.
