Synopsis and Plot Summary

Set in Huzhou, a prefecture-level city in Zhejiang, China, the story follows a man (born 1980's) who returns home and follows his dreams.

Lin Shen has established a construction company in Shanghai, but ends up returning to his hometown of Yu She. Through a stroke of fate, he is able to lead his family into conquering many obstacles in their pursuit of the thinking, "green water and green mountains are equivalent to mountains of gold and silver." At the same time, Shen Ling, a beautiful woman who felt burned out from working day and night in her investments job has gone to the same village for a vacation and she finds herself drawn to the peace and quiet away from the city.
