Synopsis and Plot Summary

The story follows Zheng Qiu Dong, a man with an unwavering determination to achieve his ambitions. With the help of his friend Old Bai and girlfriend, things start looking up for Zheng Qiu Dong's business ventures. However, Old Bai's unexpected death becomes a huge blow to Zheng Qiu Dong personally and in his career. He perseveres nonetheless and the arrival of Lin Bai provides a golden opportunity for Zheng Qiu Dong. Fun Facts

One look at Hu Ge and Director Jiang Wei knew that he was perfect for the role of the main protagonist as he was also in a suitable age.
Hu Ge earned the nickname 'Squirrel' which is romanized as song shu in Chinese. The reason is because part of the crew also worked on Nirvana in Fire so they'd automatically call him 'zong zhu' aka Lord, but because the drama hasn't aired yet, they went by another name instead.
Zhang Ling Zhi who played Hu Ge's ex-girlfriend in the drama is married to Chen Long in real life. Chen Long and Hu Ge had a long-running bromance onscreen since Nirvana in Fire.
Zhang Jiayi and Director Jiang Wei have worked together in the 2011 c-drama Borrow Gun which was produced by the same company behind Game of Hunting.
It is Zhang Jiayi and Zhang Zi Yan's second time playing father and daughter.
Zhang Jiayi had to wear a wig while filming as he had to shave his head for the drama adaptation of White Deer Plain.
It is Hu Ge's big comeback drama after Nirvana in Fire and Disguiser and also much-anticipated due to the actor going on an indefinite hiatus from the entertainment industry.
Dongyang Kingrain Media ran into legal troubles with Hunan TV for two dramas - Game of Hunting and If I Can Love You So Kingrain accused Hunan TV of failing to make payments as stipulated in the contract. Hunan TV took matters to court which ruled that damages be paid to each other while Hunan TV retains broadcast rights. Kingrain appealed though it appears that the matter has been resolved for at least one production as Game of Hunting drama aired on Hunan TV in 2017.
