Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that revolves around a male fox fairy who has just entered the world of mortals and gets into a complicated relationship with the scholar and a fan vendor.
Liu Zigu (He Qiwei) is a scholar who does not care for money nor fame. He falls in love at first sight with Ah Xiu (Zhu Lilan) who works at the shop selling fans. The fox fairy (Ye Xiaokai) bears witness to their romance and curiosity leads him to disguise himself as a human named Xiulang to experience love between men and women. Xiulang becomes blood brothers with Liu Zigu and also transforms into the appearance of Ah Xiu at times in order to be with him. When Liu Zigu discovers the truth, he is faced with a difficult choice.
