Synopsis and Plot Summary

A policewoman and her old boyfriend find their paths crossing again after many years apart and their rekindled romance is caught amidst a dangerous conspiracy and broken memories.

Having lost their memories in a case involved with a serial killer organization five years ago, Jinxi and Han meet again while investigating a rape case. Han had a crush on her immediately but he does not know that Jinxi actually was his fiancé before he lost his memory. Will they fall in love again? And will they find their memories back?

Fun Facts

Filming took place in Nanjing.
Filming lasted more than three months beginning on April 22, 2016 and ending on July 29, 2016.
Yu Zheng approached iQiYi to be the executive producer.
R is the only character in the drama that does not fit the description in the novel.
Upon learning that R will be rewritten as a hacker, Tian Muchen who plays the character was very excited because he was very adept with computers since his university days and was a member of the Honker Union of China.
The entire drama was filmed in Nanjing and had over 600 scenes. The reason for choosing the location was because the place was quite beautiful and had similar vibes to the Southern City described in the novel.
Yang Rong had a scene in a small room that was only 7 or 8 square meters. Surrounded by filming equipment, tied up, crying and screaming during the scene, she suddenly felt breathless. Since then, she always took two bottles of drinking medicine.
Even though Zhang Yijie suffered from heat stroke, he continued filming while sick and took medicine and got some rest in between takes.
Chu Junchen put himself through extreme training and lost 10 jin in 10 days.
Yang Rong said that although wearing heels in her action scenes was very cool, she was forced to wear them for the sake of the role and even finds it difficult to walk in them.
