Synopsis and Plot Summary
It tells a story about the emotional entanglements between CEO Wan Tianye and his ex-wife Ding Man, his confidant Meng Xiaoxia, and the Mr. Perfect Li Jiahao. As CEO Wan Tianye raises the adopted Maomao whom he encounters in a car accident, he too learns to grow up.
Wan Tianye (Shao Bing) and his wife Ding Man (Zhang Pei) divorce on the day of their wedding anniversary. As Ding Man leaves for America, Wan Tianye gets involved in a car accident and becomes the guardian of a child named Maomao. Wang Tianye meets the caring nurse, Meng Xiaoxia (Olivia Wang), who helps him take care of Maomao even after his company goes bankrupt. They eventually form an unusual yet happy "family of three”.
Wan Tianye starts working as a taxi driver to earn money. As days pass, Meng Xiaoxia and Wan Tianye begin to have feelings for each other. Meanwhile, Ding Man returns from America and learns about what happened to her ex-husband. She rents a house for all of them and they start living under one roof. With their new arrangement, conflicts arise, leaving Wan Tianye frustrated. However, the hurdles that he face ultimately aid him as he matures into a better person.
