Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story that revolves around high school students and the decision to study abroad. Three families face different challenges when it comes to their children.

Fang Yuan (Huang Lei) and his wife Tong Wenjie (Hai Qing) are constantly worrying about their daughter Fang Duoduo's (Zhang Zifeng) education. Their concerns over career, livelihood, family and school make it hard for the couple to decide whether or not to send Duoduo for studies abroad. When they finally come to a decision, it almost tears the family apart.

Jin Qinqin (Zhao Jinmai) is a child prodigy. Because she excels so much in school, she doesn't need to find better opportunities abroad, yet her mother Wu Jiani (Zhu Yuanyuan) feels that a 'good education' can only be received abroad. It leads to disagreements with her husband Jin Zhiming (Han Qing). Caught between her parents, Jin Qinqin cooks up a plan to get them to reconcile.

Zhang Liazhong (Wang Jun) is a wealthy tycoon who appears to have it all. But at home, his constant headache is the unending squabbles between his son Zhang Xiaoyu (Hu Xianxu) and his young wife Dina (Chen Xiaoyun). To his surprise, his son may have simply needed the right school to help him grow as a person.
