Perfect Couple

A love story between the a young man from a prominent family in the Ming Dynasty who meets his match in a quirky lady from the martial arts world.

Yu Qilin (Tang Yan) has come to the capital to find the truth about what happened to her mother. She meets Jin Yuan Bao (Wallace Huo), an entitled only son of a powerful family that is in charge of the imperial court's weaponry. A royal decree has commanded a marriage between Lady Jiang and Jin Yuan Bao. Lady Jiang escapes and Yu Qilin takes the opportunity to pretend to be the bride so that she can investigate the truth behind Jin Yuan Bao's real identity.

• It premiered April 21, 2014 on Shenzhen TV and Jiangsu TV.
• It is the first project where Wallace Huo double hats as actor and producer. He was said to be extremely busy in between takes, helping the crew with the cleanup, arranging props and doing everything under the sun.
• Wallace Huo also sang the ending theme song Good times with popular singer Della Ding.
• It is the second time Tang Yan and Wallace Huo played a couple ever since their much-loved potrayal in Chinese Paladin 3.
