Synopsis and Plot Summary
The story is about a war that erupts between the Human tribe (Ren) and the Winged tribe (Yu) after years of peace.
Long ago, people on earth viewed the Yu tribe as gods because of their ability to fly. They lived on a mountain and they created a castle that floats in the sky. However, just as the castle is about to ascend, it suddenly explodes. The little girl Yi FuLing (Guan Xiaotong) from the Ren tribe who came to watch the ascension of the castle was instead treated as a suspect of the explosion. Luckily, a royal from the Yu tribe, Feng TianYi (Zhang Ruoyun), believes that Yi FuLing could never have done it and because of his sense of righteousness, he saves her countlessly. In reality, a conspiracy is brewing within the Yu tribe. Their inability to be content being praised as gods and their lust for war comes to light. As Feng TianYi and Yi FuLing understand these, they try their best to stop the war between the tribes.

- It is Zhang Luyi, Liu Min and Director Yang Lei's second time working together since the three also worked on the 2014 drama Red. Liu Min said that the presscon held for the two dramas both happened to fall on Dwanwu Festival
- Production team had to wait for Guan Xiaotong to finish taking the 2016 college entrance exams before they could continue with filming.
