Synopsis and Plot Summary
The story is narrated through the eyes of Ni Hao, a good friend of Joann's and follows the two girls as they graduate from college and enter into society.
Joann (Qi Wei) has lived like a princess since she was a young girl but a sudden change in circumstance forces her to leave everything behind. No one expected her to return, yet she arrives glamorously in Shanghai determined to take back Orris, the advertising empire that her father had built.
Lu Yuanyang (Chen Yifei), the president of Orris Shanghai used to be her father's assistant. He knows her history and makes things difficult for her at every turn. As a woman who won't take no for an answer, Joann finally wins the approval of Lu Yuanyang. They develop feelings for each other even though the friction between them never stops.
Ni Hao (Wang Xiaochen), Joann's best friend, suffers from a heartbreak and loses her job. She meets Jiang Qifei (Wang Keda), a wealthy playboy. They go through many experiences together, but Ni Hao is left waiting for Jiang Qifei to confess his feelings. Joann's fuerdai ex-boyfriend walks into her life again while Lu Yuanyang encounters his first love at work. Orris is in danger of being acquired, so Joann and Lu Yuanyang join hands to keep the company.
