Synopsis and Plot Summary
Tang Dou Dou (Li Qin) is a stunning beauty, unmarried in spite of her age not from a lack of admirers but from her own volition to find her one true love. However, an incident causes her family to almost fall into ruins if not for Shen Zu Guang (Huang Wen Hao) who offers his help. Out or gratitude, she accepts the wedding proposal from the Shen family to marry their eldest son Shen Bonan (Jin Shi Jia) who is rumored to be as talented as he is good-looking. Hence, Dou Dou gets the surprise of her life when she finds out that Bonan has the intellect of an eight year old and that there is a deeper secret behind his disability.
