Synopsis and Plot Summary

The imperial court pushes for gender equality by allowing women to attend school but the idea is met with derisive opposition from people aghast at the notion. Liu Ao Tian (Nicky Wu) is a spy sent to Hong Wen School to ensure that the plan is implemented without a hitch while Lu Yun Fei (Liu Shi Shi) also arrives at the school because she has a beef to settle with Liu Ao Tian. They both become teachers dedicated to their students in a fight against the conservatives who have sent their own spy.

Nicky Wu goes all out for Incisive Great Teacher as an executive producer, screenwriter, actor and finally as a singer who also lends his voice for the opening and ending song. His leading lady is none other than his girlfriend at the time and current wife Liu Shi Shi whom he married in 2015. Wallace Huo and Zheng Pei Pei also appear through a cameo. The series premiered on Jun 6, 2014 on Dragon TV.
