Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story that follows a handsome lifeguard, the sappy girl who has a crush on him and how they eventually become a couple through the help of a canine wingman. Furthermore, the trio play a part in protecting national interests.

Xiao Qi is a homeless dog whose life was once saved by Ou Ye (Wang Yang). To repay a debt, Xiao Qi goes to find Ou Ye who is working at a pet excursion village. Ou Ye has no recollection of Xiao Qi and the dog's presence causes innumerable problems for her, what's worse, Xiao Qi is jealous to see Ou Ye falling head over heels for lifeguard Bao Yu (Leon Zhang). Bao Yu eventually realizes that Xiao Qi has the potential to become a rescue dog and their training begins, all while Ou Ye learns to live with her new pet.

Fun Facts

Filming took place in Hainan.
For the purposes of filming, the crew built a large set and the country's first pet hotel at the Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula Resort .
The character Xiao Qi was played by five labradors of similar age, size, shape and color.
The Hot Girl series along with the Hero Dog series are produced by Jiang He Studio under Perfect World Pictures.
