Synopsis and Plot Summary
Tan Yang is home to famous law practitioners Lin Zheng Yong and Yi Chui Xian Sheng and their presence has attracted talented individuals from all over the land. To fulfill his father's wishes, Tao Mo (Jiang Xin Le) spends five thousand gold taels to become the court magistrate of Tan Yang and he strives to excel at his job in spite of having no knowledge whatsoever. Moreover, he finds himself enamored with a man named Gu She (Yan Zi Dong) who is quite a prodigy in his field.
