Synopsis and Plot Summary
In the year 1948, the Lin City has been liberated along with many others yet the people remain in a constant state of fear. Qin Tian Ming (Gao Xin) is a Communist party member and he steps up to lead under the new government. Yelu Qi (Huang Xuan) is a private detective who has returned from his studies abroad. Nonetheless, he is largely skeptical of the widespread ideologies that are beginning to take hold in the nation but his perception changes after working with Tian Ming and realizing the significance of being a true compatriot.
