Synopsis and Plot Summary
Everybody's Fine is about a father's love for his four children who are mostly immature, full of themselves and needing a lesson or two from their well-intended father. Guan Zhi Guo (Zhang Guo Li) is a retired historian who has always relied on his wife to communicate with his kids. After she passed away, Zhi Guo realizes that he and the kids have grown apart. During one family gathering, none of his kids could make the occasion so he travels to each of their cities to visit them one at a time.
