Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story revolving around the time when Liu Xie falls into the hands of Cao Cao and fights a long and uphill battle to restore power to his empty throne.
Towards the end of the Eastern Han, Lady Wang gives birth to twin boys - Liu Ping and Liu Xie. Due to the scheming of Empress He, Lady Wang is forced to acknowledge the birth of only one son while sending the other away to be raised in seclusion. Eighteen years later, the country suffers from endless warfare and the puppet Emperor has fallen gravely ill. In order to turn the tide for the Han Imperial Family, the Emperor calls for his twin brother's return to the palace. Having no knowledge of his birthright, Liu Ping (Ma Tianyu) and his friend Si Ma Yi (Elvis Han) set foot inside the palace, unaware of the deadly war brewing within.
