Synopsis and Plot Summary
Xia Dongqing is an orphan with an extraordinary pair of eyes that can see otherworldly beings. Because of it, his paths crossed with Zhao Li, the ferryman, and Xiao Ya, the kind-hearted girl. One day, both of them disappeared from his life.
Xia Dongqing (Liu Zhiyang) gets into graduate school and makes new friends. In this new place, no one knows his secret yet he is constantly reminded of Zhao Li's (Yu Yi) parting words that on the night of the red moon, he will surely return. The red moon appears but arriving in Zhao Li's stead is Xiao Ya (Xiao Yin) who barely saves Dongqing from harm. Xiao Ya uses her blood as the fairy of the nine heavens to seal Dongqing's soul within his body. Together, they must find Zhao Li for Dongqing to have any hope of survival.
