Zhang Xiao (Ivy Chen) accidentally time travels to the Qing Dynasty in the body of palace maid Maertai Ruoxi and she finds herself caught in a heart-wrenching love triangle between the 4th Prince (Shawn Dou) and the 14th Prince (Yang You Ning).

- Time to Love is a movie adapted from the popular novel by Tong Hua, attempting to ride on the success of the 2011 c-drama Scarlet Heart. In order to create a condensed version of the story, the role of 8th Prince is dropped in order to place more focus on the 14th Prince.
