Synopsis and Plot Summary

A heartwarming modern day story that follows a super dog named Xiao Qi and how he changes the lives of those around him.

Surgical intern Ai Liang (Jin Shijia) is an animal lover who finds work at an animal clinic as an all-around employee who can do any job required. He not only meets clinic director Ding Han (Bea Hayden) and the nurses and veterinarians at the hospital, but also meets his ex-girlfriend's dog Xiao Qi. Initially at each other's throats, man and dog learn to become inseparable friends.

Fun Facts

Filming took place in Beijing.
It is the second drama in the Shen Quan (神犬) franchise which started with Super Partner.
The character Xiao Qi was played by three labradors. They had more scenes that the dog in Super Partner.
Due to the cold weather during winter in Beijing, Jin Shijia and Bea Hayden got sick several times which affected their voices during filming. As the time scheduled for post-production was not enough, both could not change their schedules to do more dubbing which is why voice actors were chosen to dub for them.
The Hot Girl series along with the Hero Dog series are produced by Jiang He Studio under Perfect World Pictures.
