Synopsis and Plot Summary

Whirlwind Girl is a lot of good things rolled into one as it tackles the importance of sportsmanship, friendship and romance in a story about aspiring martial artists.

Ten years ago, Qu Xiang Nan (Vincent Jiao) used to be a martial arts champion at the top of his game but he became an instant failure after being accused of doping. Bai Cao (Hu Bingqing) is his 16-year-old adopted daughter and she firmly believes in her father's innocence. Determined to right the wrongs, Bai Cao joins a dojo where she trains with Ruo Bai (Yang Yang), Hu Yifeng (Wu Lei) and many others and encounters trials that contribute to her coming-of-age story.
