Synopsis and Plot Summary
A man who fights monsters for a living has no recollection of who he is or where he came from. He finds romance in a travel companion and inadvertently releases his biggest nemesis.
Wu Xin is a monster killer with special powers. One day, he runs into Yue Ya who's on the run from her own wedding. The two encounter Official Gu, a decorated general who's actually all talk and not as brave as he pretends to be. He begs for Wu Xin's help as his own house is haunted by evil things. Wu Xin accidentally unleashes a trapdoor that was keeping a century old demon under lock and key. She is Yue Qiluo, a petite and seemingly innocent young lady who barges into Wu Xin and Yue Ya's peaceful life and wreaks havoc in the process.
