Synopsis and Plot Summary

Bi Sheng Nan and Luo Su used to be happily married. However, problems regarding children's education come one after the other and their glaring differences in opinion become like a fuse that results in a series of emotional conflicts.

Coming from a family that believes in the motto spare the rod and spoil the child, Bi Sheng Nan (Vicki Zhao Wei) is the classic tiger mom who advocates rearing a child with an iron fist. Her husband Luo Su (Tong Da Wei) is more like a gentle cat who takes a relaxed approach when it comes to raising their 7-year-old daughter Luo Qian Qian (Ji Zi Han). As parents, their disparate methods are often a source of family conflict especially with the arrival of Lin Na (Dong Jie), a single mom who is sweet and unlike Sheng Nan in many ways. Nevertheless, Lin Na's methods seem to work wonders as she also has a talented daughter of her own.

Filming took place in Beijing.
Filming began on May 15, 2014 and wrapped in October 2014.
It is Zhao Wei and Tong Da Wei's third collaboration since the movie Red Cliff in 2008 and their first time playing husband and wife.
It is Zhao Wei's much-anticipated return to TV after seven years away from the small screen since filming the TV series The Epic of a Woman.
Nicholas Tse visited the set in his chef's attire to cook for his good friends Zhao Wei and Tong Dawei. The three prepared food for the cast and crew.
